SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of electrical engineering. Differential switch contains the following component parts: fixed power contact (1); swivel-mounted power contact (2); test contactor unit and auto disconnect arm (10) connected to the test contactor unit terminal and positioned perpendicular to the axis of rotation (8) of the swivel-mounted power contact (2); auto disconnect plate spring (7) connected to the swivel-mounted power contact (2) and positioned opposite the auto disconnect arm (10) in such a way that when the swivel-mounted power contact (2) is closed the auto disconnect plate spring (7) is opposite the auto disconnect arm (10), but when the swivel-mounted power contact (2) is broken the auto disconnect plate spring (7) draws away from the auto disconnect arm.

EFFECT: differential switch operational efficiency improvement.
