FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: electrical device is designed to be wired to an AC source for a home or non-commercial electrical system, to a load, and to a command element to allow or prohibit said AC source to power said load, depending on the conductive and non-conductive states assumed by the command element. The device comprises a voltage converter (553, 552), the output of which is connected to the control element (544) in order to supply a safe voltage to it, while the said control element (544) is configured to supply the said safe voltage between the first command terminal (522) and second command terminal (520) when they are electrically isolated from each other outside said device, and not apply said safety voltage between said first command terminal (522) and said second command terminal (520) when the same potential is applied to them outside said device.
EFFECT: increased safety when using.
