Effect referred to is due to the functional capabilities of the radio base station being defined so that to provide for the module facile adaptability to varied requirements and conditions. The radio network module contains an internal RBS-interface that subdivides the functional capabilities into the first part exclusively including the radio network functional capabilities proper and the second part exclusively including capabilities related to radio broadcasting. The internal interface contains at least a single communication link that exercises control over the additional exchange necessitated by the subdivision above-mentioned and a communication link that exercises control over the user data to be processed that is transmitted or received by the module under consideration.

EFFECT: radio base station adaptability to varied requirements and conditions.
