FIELD: communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to communication systems such as 3GPP communication systems. Proposed is user equipment in a mobile communication system, comprised of a processing circuit determining during operation whether the user equipment located in a first radio access network notification area - a first RNA area, moves to a second radio access network notification area - a second RNA area different from the first RNA area. The user equipment therein is in the inactive state from the idle state, the connected state, and the inactive state wherein the user equipment is able to be. The user equipment also comprises a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver receives contextual information connected with the user equipment from the second base radio station wherein the information is suitable for use by the user equipment for uplink and downlink data exchange with the second base radio station.
EFFECT: technical result is provided availability of contextual information connected with the user equipment, wherein said information is used by the user equipment for data exchange with the base radio station.
