FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of cavitation and can be used in construction, chemical and food industries, etc. Proposed generator comprises casing with inner working chamber and branch pipes to feed and discharge fluid, drive shaft arranged in the chamber and activator fitted on the shaft. Activator represents a disk with wavy-walls branch pipes-cylinders arranged on disk one or both sides and aligned with the disk. Working chamber face walls accommodate fixed branch pipes-cylinders that allow rotation of branch pipes-cylinders secured on activator between fixed branch pipes-cylinders on face walls of working chamber. Waves on branch pipes-cylinders feature smooth periodic structure (with no angular folds). Note here that the number of waves on all branch pipe-cylinders located on one side of activator is equal and corresponds to that on branch pipes-cylinders fitted on working chamber face wall on the same side. During activator rotation in annular channels between movable and fixed branch pipes-cylinders, a dynamic system of vortex structures is formed as well as pulsating cavitation bubbles and their clusters.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cavitation and longer life.
