FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cavitation generator includes a housing with an internal working chamber and with nozzles for supplying and removing liquid from the chamber, a drive shaft located in the chamber and an activator fixed to the shaft in the form of a disc with cavitators of a certain shape installed along the radii of the disc along the normal to its surfaces, and similar stationary cavitators are installed on the end walls of the working chamber. The cavitators are made in the form of truncated cones, with their base rigidly attached to movable discs and fixed walls of the chamber, with truncated cones installed on the movable discs on, at least, one side of the disc along the radii of the disc along the normal to its surface.
EFFECT: invention provides for fine-dispersed grinding of ores and their mechanochemical activation at low energy costs for a wide range of materials, differing in strength, viscosity and other characteristics.
