FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: welding arc is excited on component from copper alloy at the distance of 3-7 mm from its edge adjacent to component from steel. Welding bath is arranged by melting of main metal of copper alloy and doped material from copper. Arc is displaced along copper alloy component to steel component and along steel component by value of welding seam with maintenance of uninterrupted arc burning provided that steel is heated only because of its contact with welding bath. Reciprocal displacement of welding bath and arc is realized by specified manner until welding seam is completely formed between components. In process of welding bath contact with steel, arc between nonconsumable electrode and welding bath is maintained at the distance of 2-3 mm from its head part.
EFFECT: higher impact viscosity of welded joints with preservation of their strength properties by minimum transfer of iron from steel into seam metal.
