FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: inventions are designed for emergency protection of electronics packages such as flight information recorders used at aircrafts and any other transportation vehicles. Method of electronics packages heat protection implies removing heat from the electronics packages with the help of heat-protective mixture by its melting and dehydration; device for the method implementation comprises a casing with its inner surfaces forming a cavity for the placement of the electronics packages in its centre and a thermal spacer adjacent to the inner casing surface. Space between the electronics packages and the spacer is filled with a mixture of crystals of nickel orthophosphate, barium citrate, silica gel, aluminium silicate and sodium citrate. Crystals of nickel orthophosphate and barium citrate are precoated with an iron abietate coating which is saturated with gel of sodium silicate and iron acetate, the nickel orthophosphate crystals in the iron abietate coating are placed around the barium citrate crystals in their own iron abietate coating.

EFFECT: increasing specific heat-removing ability of the mixture by 60-75% and as a result providing for protection of the electronics package by smaller mixture weight during not less than 60 minutes under the temperature of 1100°C and 10 hours under the temperature of 260°C.
