FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: garden cable pruner contains pair of force levers, pair of identical cutting knives and elements of pivotal connection between them. The elements of pivotal connection are made in form of side patch pieces connected between them by means of fingers of rolling of the cutting knives relative to each other. The cutting tools are made in form of a two-horned fork with an access for an object of cutting between horns and a hole for the finger of a force pivot at the counter end. An additional hole for the finger of rolling of the cutting knife is made on the field of the cutting knife between the access for the object of cutting and the hole for the finger of the force pivot. A blade is made on the outer edge of one of the fork horns. Cutting knives in pair are arranged one above the other with a back side. The horn of the fork with the blade of one of the cutting knife faces the horn of the fork without a blade of another knife. The cutting knives in pair are tightened to provide sliding relative to each other between the side patch pieces by means of fingers of rolling. Each cutting knife with its free end is pivotally connected with its force lever.

EFFECT: low metal consumption, increased manufacturability and durability of item and improved labour conditions for operator.
