FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: light is serially sent to unaffected and affected surface, reflected light is collected, then sent to spectrum analyser, and colorimetric treatment of reflection spectra is carried out. Investigated surfaces are additionally illuminated with ultraviolet light, fluorescence light is collected and sent to spectrum analyser, colorimetric treatment of fluorescence spectra is carried out, compared to appropriate colorimetric characteristics of surface in white and ultraviolet light in normal condition, if characteristics coincide, normal condition is diagnosed, if deviations are registered, conclusion is drawn on availability of pathology that requires therapeutical correction; comparison is carried out minimum by four colour coordinates of reflection spectra and fluorescence spectra.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and validity of maxillofacial area pathology diagnostics.
