FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a photo-cured composition that is suitable for use in dentistry, dental filling material based on it and its application. The proposed composition contains a polymerizable monomer (A), a spherical filler (B) with an average particle size in the range of 230-350 nm, a complex filler made of an organic polymer matrix and the spherical filler (B) and an initiator (C) of polymerization. The composition is such that: the monomer (A) contains a set of (meth)acrylic compounds and its refractive index at 25°C is in the range of 1.38-1.55; 90% or more of individual particles that make up the filler (B) is in the range of ±5% of the average particle size; a refractive index nP (25°C) of the polymer obtained by the polymerization of the monomer (A) is less than a refractive index nF (25°C) of the filler (B); a refractive index nD (25°C) of the organic polymer matrix is less than nF (25°C) of the filler (B); the difference between nF and nP and the difference between nF and nD is from 0.002 to 0.05; the organic polymer matrix is homopolymer or copolymer of (meth)acrylic compound and its refractive index at 25°C is in the range of 1.40-1.57; the filler (B) is spherical particles of complex oxides based on silicon dioxide and titanium group oxides, and its refractive index at 25°C is in the range of 1.45-1.58; the initiator (C) contains a photosensitizer compound (C1), a tertiary amine compound (C2) and a photoacid precursor (C3), where (C3) is aryl iodonium salt capable of generating, by a splitting reaction, acid having constant of acid dissociation in water at 25°C of -3.0 or higher. The composition is characterized by high resistance to weak light (such as ambient lighting), and polymerization is completed in a very short time when irradiated with active light using a light emitter, which is usually used for polymerization and curing.
EFFECT: dental filling material consisting of the above-described composition is suitable for use for filling a cavity having dentin located on the surface of a deep part, including when dentin is a part having a brown-reddish tint of color; the composition structure ensures the formation of a cured product, the appearance of which corresponds to the appearance of natural teeth and retains the specified compliance for a long period of time.
