FIELD: medicine; exercise therapy.

SUBSTANCE: patient is placed on ball with assistant support, after every exercise he or she returns to initial position (IP). In IP, while lying prone on his or her forefront, assistant holds the patient for hands and legs, and patient performs the following exercises: caudad and cephalad rolls, then rolling round right and left, turnovers on ball from stomach to back and from back to stomach over right and left body sides. In IP, while laying prone on his or her forefront on ball and while assistant holds the patient for hands and legs, the patient performs the following exercises: turnovers on ball caudad and cephalad; turnovers back and forth; turnovers round right and left. In IP. while sitting on ball, feet rested on the floor, hands rested on hips, assistant fixes patient's legs, patient pushes his or her feet and area of ishial tuberosities down, stretches with his or her crown up, keeping the stretch, performs the following exercises: slow turns of head left and right; slow turns of body left and right.

EFFECT: development of locomotive functions in patients with tetraparesis.
