SUBSTANCE: method for fiber cleaning includes supply of fiber layers to cleaning drum, scutching of beard by burr elements of cleaning drum. In process of fiber layers supply to cleaning drum they are compressed and shifted relative to each other to create tension according to value that exceeds limit of connections strength between fibers in complexes and fiber connections with trash, including chaff, and then free beard is scutched at the outlet from clamping device.
EFFECT: enhanced cleaning effect and quality of produced fiber, by destruction of connections between fibers in complexes and fiber connections with trash, including chaff in process of flax fiber treatment.
