FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to construction, particularly to a water catching device and the corresponding water drainage device. The water catching device for removing liquid, particularly rain water, has a drainpipe. The pipe is made around an axis (X-X) and forms the drainpipe. Around the drainpipe there is a storage container with a mouth. The water catching device has a water drainage device with a cover. The cover has a continuous central zone, which closes the drainpipe. The cover has a peripheral zone, enclosing the central zone and is located opposite the mouth. In the peripheral zone, there is at least one through spill way opening, bordering the side. For each opening in the circular space between the cover and the mouth, there is at least one water drainage unit. The water drainage unit lies along part of the side and has a radial bend. The radial bend essentially lies radially, relative the axis (X-X). The water drainage unit has a circular bend, continuing the radial bend and essentially made in the circular direction relative the axis (X-X).
EFFECT: design of a device with high carrying capacity for the given dimensions.
