FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inventions can be used in marine diesels. The system comprises, at least, one lubricating device incorporating a control shaft running, preferably, in phase with the diesel main shaft. The system uses no mechanical linkage between the said lubricating device and the main shaft. It incorporates an AC motor driving the control shaft. Note that the system is furnished with support appliances coupled with the main shaft to indicate its angular position and those to monitor the position of the aforesaid support appliances. Mind that the system comprises the control unit receiving the signals from monitoring appliances and comprising the means of defining the support appliance angular position and speed, hence those of the main shaft. The said control unit is connected to the AC motor to adjust the control shaft rotation and to drive the reciprocating pumps lubing the cylinder. The lubrication method is also described.
EFFECT: efficient method of lubing marine diesels.
