FIELD: machine building, pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and is designed to reduce a high variable gas pressure and to keep up output pressure at preset level. The automatic pressure-reduction station comprises a metal cabinet to house pressure-reduction lines and gas heater connected in parallel. Every aforesaid line incorporates a filter, two consecutively mounted pressure controllers, components to protect against excess pressure and a relief valve. The said gas heater comprises a catalytic thermoelectric generator incorporating a gas catalytic oxidation chamber on both sides of which semiconductor thermoelectric batteries are attached fitted between plate radiators. A fuel feed injection system is connected to the aforesaid chamber. A heat exchanger representing a helical pipeline is located around exhaust pipe right above the said chamber.
EFFECT: reduction of high variable pressure and maintenance of preset output pressure.
