SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for distributing natural gas through pipelines, namely to gas reduction devices, and can be used to supply populated areas, industrial facilities and individual consumers with natural gas. The device contains reducing lines, pressure regulators, pressure and temperature sensors, an access identifier, a controller, an information transmission unit, a flow meter, a corrector, a gas flow balance monitoring controller, a unit for calculating interval gas flow, a unit for monitoring and storing a sequence of current gas flow data, a predictive unit gas consumption data, external temperature and air humidity sensors, temperature and humidity correctors, a register of forecast and current data, blocks for generating warning and alarm signals.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and safety of gas supply by making operational decisions based on warning and alarm signals in the event of significant deviations of the current gas flow from the forecast, which may be a consequence of disruptions in the operation of the gas pipeline network.
