FIELD: natural gas distribution.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for distributing natural gas through pipelines, namely to gas reduction devices, and can be used to supply settlements, industrial facilities and individual consumers with natural gas. The device contains reducing lines, pressure regulators, pressure and temperature sensors, an access identifier, a controller, an information transmission unit, a flow meter, a corrector, a timer, a register of minute and hourly gas flow rates, comparison and memory blocks, a gas flow balance monitoring controller, shift registers, blocks calculations, maximum flow rate generators for a set time interval, maximum flow rate comparators, an adder, an interval gas flow calculation unit, an interval timer and a time delay unit.
EFFECT: improving the reliability and security of gas supply through remote monitoring of the balance of gas flows in real time to identify unauthorized connections and possible gas leaks with the transfer of operational information to the gas distribution organization.
