FIELD: physics, semiconductors.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of coolers for cooling of power semiconductor instruments and may be used in electrotechnical and radio-electronic industry. Longitudinal channels are arranged in cooler base along its whole length. Spiral bores are provided at the ends of longitudinal through channels. Such cooler design made it possible to increase efficiency of cooler forced cooling, due to delamination of swirled cooling medium into hot one that passes along central part of longitudinal channels and cold one that passes along walls of longitudinal channels of cooler base, cooled medium takes heat from cooler and exhausts it into environment. It also makes it possible to increase area of cooler cooling due to arrangement of through longitudinal channels inside cooler and spiral bores at their ends and to simultaneously to reduce cooler weight. Besides, this cooler design makes it possible to arrange through longitudinal channels in cooler base at long length, without mechanical treatment.
EFFECT: creation of cooler with efficient cooling system, lower cooler weight, reduction of cooling devices maintenance cost and lower cost of electrotechnical device as a whole.
