FIELD: mechanics, technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: process vessel is designed for passage of gas-liquid reactions in monolithic catalyst channels including such reactions as oxidation, nitration, amination, sulphonation, cyanidation, chloration and fluoration as well as olefin, diene, styrene or aromatic compound hydrogenation. The catalyst is multi-stagedly arranged inside the vessel body. Between the stages there are auxiliary gas supply nipples mounted. Behind the nipples there are devices serially arranged that provide for additional cross-sectional dispersion and distribution of gas within the vessel. Each of the above devices is represented by a Venturi tube consisting of a confuser, a neck and a diffuser. The device may alternatively be represented by a blade wheel rigidly fixed inside the vessel body. Another design option of the device envisages deployment of a Venturi tube and a blade wheel rigidly fixed inside the vessel body before the Venturi tube.
EFFECT: improved operational efficiency and capacity of the process vessel.
