SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in oil wells with artificial lifting for determination of capacity reduction in pump system used for supply of fluid medium. In process of pump system operation different conditions are measured, which are used for determination of measured parameters, which are provided with appropriate indicators of validity. Measured parameters together with indicators of validity are compared to referent compound curve for specific pump system to determine whether actual capacity corresponds to criteria of capacity reduction or it goes over threshold to the area of capacity reduction.

EFFECT: provision of possibility to plan replacement of pump systems, removal of pump system, or other actions depending on cost of intervention and/or potential debit of this well.
