FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to methods of optimizing operation of wells equipped with a downhole pump, including installations of electrically driven centrifugal pumps. Method includes investigation of well potential by construction of actual indicator diagram by measurements of bottomhole pressure and flow rate at several modes of well operation, obtained by increasing or reducing rotational speed of electric motor of downhole pump and its complete stop, determination of optimum working point (optimal well flow rate) taking into account characteristics of "formation – well – pump" system, setting of rotation frequency, at which pump supply corresponds to optimum well flow rate. At that, change of well operation modes, determination of bottomhole pressure and flow rate, as well as construction of indicator diagram and finding of optimum operating point (optimum yield) are performed in automatic mode using software and hardware complex, which outputs the command of the control station to set the required rotational speed of the drive motor, wherein the construction of the indicator diagram and determination of the optimum operating point is carried out taking into account the variable operating characteristic of the downhole pump, wherein the optimum operating point is based on the flow rate at which particles of mechanical impurities of defined density and size do not enter the submersible pump.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of energy consumption for product lifting from well, improvement of reliability of pump equipment and simplification of technical implementation of method.
