FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology, specifically to dacryology, and is intended for cytological analysis of lachrymal passages contents to diagnose and treat dacryostenoses of various aetiology. Mucous tunic of inferior nasal meatus is sanitised within nasolachrymal duct orifice. Lachrymal sac and nasolachrymal duct cavities are singly flushed with stained solution through inferior or superior lachrymal point and related tubule. After stained content shows up in inferior nasal meatus, it is collected within nasolachrymal duct orifice, transferred to microscope slide and stained for cytological analysis.
EFFECT: etiological diagnosis making it possible to apply related well-timed adequate therapy due to sampling contents for analysis directly from nasolachrymal while flushed.
