FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with feeding and preventive treatment of pigs and birds from cannibalism symptoms. The method of cannibalism prevention and/or treatment provides for injecting yeast derivative containing 5'-nucleotydes and/or peptides sized at least, 1000 Dalton, preferably from 1000 to 10000 Dalton. In addition, yeast are referred to Saccharomyces or Candida types. The method of cannibalism prevention and/or treatment provides for injecting 5'-nucleotydes. The method of cannibalism prevention and/or treatment includes injection of peptides originated from yeast with sizes, at least, 1000 Dalton, preferably from 1000 to 10000 Dalton.
EFFECT: reduction of cannibalism symptoms and increase of live-stock farming productivity.
