FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ferrous metallurgy. Particularly it concerns steel continuous casting. In method there is implemented steel feeding into mold, withdrawal of section from it, its cooling in spray cooling chamber and cobbing of section in the end of solidification range by wide side in four pulling - breakdown mill with distance between mills 6.6-7.3 of wide side length of mold not more than for 0.6% at maximal cobbing value 2.5% in each pulling - breakdown mill, at that beginning of cobbing section is implemented from bottom cut of mold at the distance 44.7-49.2 of length of mold wide side.
EFFECT: invention provides receiving of section of specified cross section and mass and improve section macrostructure.
