FIELD: metallurgy; methods of continuous casting of blank parts.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to the continuous casting of blank parts using a soft roll knobbing in the solid-liquid state by pairs of rollers. The method includes: delivery of the metal from the steel-teeming ladle into an intermediate ladle and further into a crystallizing dish; withdrawal of a blank part from it with a preset speed the blank part cooling in the area of after-cooling by the soft roll knobbing in the solid-liquid state by pairs of rollers. At that the soft roll knobbing in each pair of rollers is conducted according to the following formula: ▵USR = k1 k2 ▵USR at the relative contents of a liquid phasefl in a two-phase area in the middle of the blank part being within the limits of 0.25 <fl <0.75, where:kl = 1.5-5.5, is a coefficient taking into account the cross-section deformation of the material in the two-phase area at the soft roll knobbing and depending on the relative share of the liquid phase in the central area of the blank part,k2 = 2.2-4.1, the coefficient taking into account deformation of the caked crust of the blank part and depending on the ratio of the dimension of the two-phase area in the corresponding roller pair to the thickness of the blank part, ▵νSR - the complete setting of the blank part at a solidification of metal in the corresponding roller pair, mm. The invention allows to improve quality of a surface and a macrostructure of the continuous casting blank parts and also to increase the length of the area of the soft roll knobbing to provide the more complete compensation of the setting at the steel solidification, to decrease the poor axial soundness and the liquation. Besides an action on a blank part along the more stretched section in the end of the solidification allows to increase speed of casting.
EFFECT: the invention ensures improved quality of the continuous-casting blank parts surfaces and the macrostructure, provision of the more complete compensation of the setting at the steel solidification due to an increased length of the area of the soft roll knobbing, an increased speed of casting, a decreased poor axial soundness and the liquation.
