FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method may be used in manufacture of hollow vane for gas turbine engine that comprises root and airfoil portion. Two external parts are manufactured by means of primary element forging that forms at least airfoil portion of external part, and by means of at least one secondary element intended for at least partial creation of lower part of external part related to forging. Every secondary element is connected to primary element to produce external part. Two external parts are connected to each other by diffusion welding.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to previously manufacture separate elements of external parts that make the vane, every of which has relatively uniform thickness, with their further connection, which lowers expenses on vanes manufacture due to metal savings and elimination of mechanical processing.
