DEVICE AND METHOD HOT-MELT COATING OF METAL BLANK Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C23C2/24 

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: device contains tank with melt and located in front of it guide channel, in the area of which there are provided electro-magnetic inductors for creating of magnetic field, premelting tank, located vertically under the guide channel. Also in this device there are provided furnace hose, from which blank is out in direction of feeding, and two discharging roller for rotating of blank to vertical direction, at that intersection of metal blank elongation in the direction of feeding with blank elongation in vertical direction through the guide channel are located lower melt level in premelting tank. Blank is vertically passed through the tank with melt, and through guide channel located in front of tank, in area of which it is produced magnetic field for melt keeping in tank. Tank is provided by melt from premelting tank, and for running of coating process melt at moving in transportation direction of metal blank feeding is fed from premelting tank into empty preheated receptacle, at that between premelting tank and receptacle by means of pump and draining it is implemented passing of melt bulk flow of which is at least five times less than melt carry-over from tank by metal blank. Invention enables re-equipment of existing usual facilities for hot-melt coating so, that it is possible optimally implement vertical method of coating at maximal benefit.

EFFECT: cost reduction for equipment and reduction of overall dimensions.
