FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: metal strip is immersed into melted metal (200) by means of roller (120). A rotating roller is secured in bearing (144) with bracket (105). A sluice is arranged between chamber of bearing (142) and through orifice (136) to seal chamber of bearing (142). Sluice chamber (132) is sealed with gaseous medium under pressure to prevent penetration of melt metal (200). Sluice chamber (132) is made in form of immersed bell with channel-like output orifice (134) open in the direction of melt metal (200).
EFFECT: simplified maintenance of device, particularly of sluice.
