FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: creation of specified microstructure, particularly required grain size of ferrite is provided ensured by regulation of temperature-velocity conditions of hot rolling and cooling of the strip in intermill spaces of finishing broad-strip mill group. During the process of hot rolling in finishing continuous train of strips broad-strip mill mainly with carbon content 0.14-0.19% of thickness 12-16 mm it is implemented management of inter- deformational interval, which is defined in intermill spaces by passages from expression: T=7.14*n-0.53, where T - inter-deformational interval, c, n - the number of passage. Furthermore, in intermill spaces of finishing mill group on bottom part of strip water feeding is implemented evenly steadily, and water amount, supplied to the top surface of the strip is defined from ratio Vfirst=1.5*Vlast, where Vfirst - water consumption, supplied on strip surface at the first two intermill spaces, m3/h; Vlast - consumption, supplied on strip surface at the last two intermill spaces, m3/h.
EFFECT: receiving of required complex of mechanical properties in hot-rolled plate iron for manufacturing of profiles for building units.
