FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: device for fluorinated carbon-base material production accommodates reactor 1, heater 9, reaction and inert gas mixer 4, gas-permeable rig 8 for carbon-base material, gas inlet 7 and outlet 10 fittings, gas-distribution assembly 5 for gas supply, central gas vent connected to volatile fluorine gas collector 12 and gas-outlet condensate collector 13. The reactor 1 is multiple-chamber and supplied with vent enclosure 3. The heater 9 is mounted along the perimeter of each chamber 6. Gas outlet fittings 10 are connected to central gas vent at the angle 30-60°. Ratio of cross-sectional area of central gas vent to total cross-sectional area of gas outlet fittings 10 is 1:(1.5-5). Each chamber 6 contains gas-permeable rig 8 with carbon-base fibrous material or thermally dilated graphite. Reaction gas related to inert gas (2-20)÷(80-98) vol. %, respectively, is supplied through the mixer 4 to the gas-distribution assembly 5 and to chambers 6. Reaction gas contains 5-12 vol. % of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. Process is enabled at 350-500°C under pressure (-20÷100) kPa during 2-5 h.
EFFECT: higher performance and yield of required quality with ensured process explosion safety.
