FIELD: organofluoric compounds.

SUBSTANCE: invention is oriented for use in manufacture of dry lubricants, thickeners for lubricant compositions, water- and oilproof agents, components of protective lacquer coatings, cathode materials of high-energetic lithium power sources, and dielectric substrates. Carbon material is loaded into reactor provided with electric heater and stirred and heated to 350-500оС. Thereafter, fluorinating mixture of gases obtained during electrolysis of acidic potassium fluorides and containing fluorine and hydrogen fluoride is added together with hydrogen. Process is carried out at continuous stirring of carbon material while simultaneously controlling content of fluorine in gas mixture on reaction zone inlet and outlet. Concentration of fluorine in initial fluorinating gas mixture is changed according to formula , where Co is concentration of fluorine in gas mixture on reaction zone inlet, mol % and CB is concentration of fluorine in gas mixture on reaction zone outlet, mol %. Fluorination is stopped when Co and CB become equal to each other. On achieving Co = 1 mol %, reaction zone temperature is raised by 30-70оС above initial temperature. Specific consumption of fluorine us thus reduced to 1.35-1.41 kg per 1 kg desired product. Conversion of carbon material is 50-55%.

EFFECT: increased productivity of process due to its acceleration and improved economical characteristics.
