FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to analytical chemistry and can be used for process inspection, identity testing and counterfeit cognacs, cognac spirits and aged wines detection. Method of cognac, cognac spirit and aged wine analysis for aromatic aldehydes and phenolcarboxylic acids with capillary electrophoresis includes preparation of diluted sample, followed with electrophoretic separation in the quartz capillary filled with drive electrolyte with high voltage supplied so that to ensure positive potential on capillary end wherein the sample is introduced relative to the opposite capillary end. Aldehydes and phenolcarboxylic acids are identified and tested for concentration concerning prepared calibration graph. Aldehydes and phenolcarboxylic acids are detected simultaneously with using single borax compound concentrated 5-50 mmol/l as drive electrolyte. Aldehydes and phenolcarboxylic acids are detected at optimum wavelength 373 nm.
EFFECT: widening the list of tested components, developing simple and express method of cognac, cognac spirit and aged wine analysis for aromatic aldehydes and phenolcarboxylic acids simultaneously with capillary electrophoresis method.
