FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves thermal acid decomposition of a plant sample, multiple dilution of the sample to total phosphorus content of not more than 500 mg/dm3, centrifuging and performing analysis on a capillary electrophoresis system in a quartz capillary with effective length of 0.5 m and inner diameter of 75 mcm. Analysis is performed using an aqueous main electrolyte solution containing 0.2% potassium chromate and 0.6% urotropin with negative voltage polarity and detection wavelength of 254 nm.

EFFECT: faster, improved and highly objective quantitative analysis.
