FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, and is more concrete to stomatology. Local sites of Ramfjord teeth or implants corresponding to them are influenced with optical probing radiation raising fluorescence. Simultaneously intensity of probing radiation reflected from each of investigated teeth or implants corresponding them by means of optic-electronic agents and as integrated value of spectral intensity of fluorescence of the same local sites is measured, first two of which on equator and cervical area are located on axis of each investigated tooth or implant corresponding to them, and others two - on cervical area near to corresponding interdental intervals. After that cleaning of the teeth or implants is carried out with use of tooth-paste, thus periodically interrupting process of cleaning and after an oral cavity gargle, determining each time, at least for one of mentioned above local sites, changing towards augmentation of intensity of the probing radiation reflected from it, and at augmentation not less than on 40% of intensity of the probing radiation reflected from controllable local site operation of cleaning of teeth stop and it is repeated on the same local sites of the same investigated teeth or implants corresponding to them measuring intensity of the reflected probing radiation and integrated value of spectral intensity of fluorescence. Hygiene of oral cavity is estimated on averaged on all i to the investigated teeth or implants corresponding to them to the size of Kn factor which is function of sizes: where S1 (1) and S1 (2) - accordingly intensity of the probing radiation reflected from i - local site before cleaning of teeth or implants; S2 (1) and S2 (2) - integrated value of spectral intensity of fluorescence i - local site before cleaning of teeth or implants; i=1,2,3 and 4.
EFFECT: method allows to raise reliability of definition of hygiene of oral cavity at simultaneous essential depression of probability of entering of infection in oral cavity, at the expense of use of optic-electronic agents and fibre-optic probes for measurement of changes (as a result of usual cleaning of teeth by tooth-paste) optic-fluorescent parametres of the Ramfjord teeth.
