FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding engineering field. Particularly it relates to welding process by plasma arc and can be used with manufacturing of wide range of welded fabrication made of active materials in different productive industries. Welding process includes continuous pulsating feed of orifice gas environment flow and protective gas into area of plasma arc. Pulsating feed of orifice and/or protective gas environment is implemented with cycling of orifice and/or protective gas environment consumption, which is implemented according to rule about continuous square wave. With consumption changing of orifice and/or protective gas environment its composition is changed.
EFFECT: it is provided sustained quality of welded joints with thickness higher than 6 mm ensured by uniform penetration of material in all attitude positions.
