FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: on Doppler echosignal from a pair of prospective values of trajectories with blanket beginning and account of standing of trajectory, and the first more than the second, is registered by pairs of standings of each Doppler impulse concerning the first, sequence of pairs of time intervals discrete values with general initial standing of the Doppler impulse is created; difference in each pair between discrete values of time intervals and for return velocity of shell is determined accepting the first value in a pair of discrete values of time intervals where the difference is minimal.

EFFECT: increase of measurement accuracy of shell velocity at the expense of decrease in errors.
