FIELD: physics, measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns means of radar-tracking determination of parameters of moving objects and can be used at measuring of velocity of a shell. The essence of the method consists that on recording of a temporary standing of each Doppler impulse concerning the first in the Doppler echo signal of the shell create sequence of continuance pairs of temporary sites with a blanket initial Doppler impulse in each pair, and duration of the second temporary site less the first and on steam of prospective return values of trajectories with the blanket beginning and taking into account a trajectory arrangement shapes sequence of pairs of reciprocal values of possible velocities in which spot an odds in steams of reciprocal values of possible velocities and for return velocity of a shell accept the first value of reciprocal values of possible velocities in steam where difference is underload.

EFFECT: increase of measurement accuracy of shell velocity at the expense of decrease in errors.
