FIELD: packing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packages from film-forming polymers, with at least one wall, containing a composition which removes oxygen, in an effective amount, composed of 100-10000 weight parts per million weight parts of the package wall. The film-forming polymer is an aromatic polyester resin or polyester/nylon mixture. The composition removing oxygen, contains particles of iron as the oxidisable metal, and at least one halogen compound, hydrolysed in a protonic solvent, selected from the group, consisting of AlCl3, FeCl2, FeCl3, TiCl4, SnCl4, SiCl4, POCl3, SOCl2, Al(OEt)Cl2 and n-butyl SnCl3, and/or its adducts. The specified halogen compounds, hydrolysed in a protonic solvent, and/or its adducts, are precipitated on the oxidisable metal from liquid, practically not containing moisture, after which if necessary from the solid material evaporate the residual solvent. Walls of the package have a value of transmission blurring by Hunter till 0.04% per micron of the package wall.
EFFECT: efficient oxygen removal, absence of excessive polymer degragation.
