FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely, cardiology. X-ray diplography with normal intrathoracic pressure and increased to 30-35 mm hg is performed. The difference of the diameter of ascending aorta and left ventricle size in these conditions is measured. If the difference of the diameter of ascending department of aorta is less than 4 mm and the difference of size of left ventricle is less than 6 mm, aortal stenosis is diagnosed. If the difference of the diameter of ascending aorta is more than 4 mm and difference of size of left ventricle is more than 6 mm, aortic insufficiency is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows carrying out differential diagnostics of aortal heart diseases - stenosis and aortic insufficiency.
