FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine and is intended for estimation of efficiency of I and II degrees scoliosis treatment. Roentgenograms are made before treatment. Each procedure of making of the roentgenogram before treatment is performed in vertical position of the patient twice in frontal and lateral projections. An axis of base plumb is placed on the roentgenogram preliminary. Quantity of cervical, thoracal and lumbar having changes in spatial position is determined on the roentgenogram in relation to an axis of the base plumb. Index of lateral inclinations of bodies of vertebra is determined under formula IAO = ΣCn/Cm+Tk/Tq+Li/Le, where: Cn - quantity of cervical vertebra having lateral inclination; Cm - total of cervical vertebra; Tk - quantity of thoracal vertebra having lateral inclination; Tq - total of thoracal vertebra; Li - quantity of lumbar vertebra having lateral inclination; Le - total of lumbar vertebra. After end of the cycle of treatment the procedure of making of roentgenograms identically described above is repeated and the index of lateral inclinations is determined according to the above-stated formula, the obtained fixed values are compared and efficiency of treatment is estimated on difference between these value, thus the difference equal or less than 0.4 specifies the absence of changes, from 0.5 to 1.2 - presence of the minor alterations, equal to 1.3 and more - presence of the expressed changes.
EFFECT: offered method is simple in execution and allows estimating degree of success of treatment.
