FIELD: transport, aviation.
SUBSTANCE: device designed to implement the proposed method comprises a frame supporting the seat with seat back. Aforesaid frame is coupled with mechanisms of remote turning and shifting in horizontal plane and with the appliances of mounting the seat in the passenger compartment. The seat is jointed to frame to turn in horizontal plane through fixed angles thanks to readjustment of its geometrical structure in response to control signals. Seat and its back represent an integral module jointed to the frame by means of helical spring made from alloy that features the shape memory and several, consecutively increasing, temperature thresholds of operation. It features also increasing unidirectional fixed angles of twisting corresponding to the seat fixed angular positions. The spring end faces are isolated from seat and frame and furnished with terminals connected to those on crew control board corresponding to the given seat.
EFFECT: higher flight safety.
