FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, particularly, automatic control devices, namely, to instrumentation and signaling devices, and can be used for continuous control over the state of electromechanical jets incorporated with gasoline engines feed systems. The proposed method comprises measuring the jet solenoid current corresponding to the solenoid start time, comparing the reference jet currents to define, proceeding from the results of measurement, the time of the solenoid rod travel end. The delay relative to the current appearance, if any, allows judging upon the solenoid state. Note that, additionally, strength of current is measured at the moment it decreases with the sound solenoid moving to define, from the results of comparison with the strength of current of corresponding moment, the solenoid rod mobility and judge upon the solenoid state.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosing jets state (mobility of their shut-off elements and state of springs).
