FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to fuel feed systems for gasoline internal combustion engines. Electromagnetic fuel injector consists of electromagnet 11 with coil 9 and winding 10, sprayer 1, shut-off needle 2 resting against seat 5, return spring 12, support tube 13, filter element 16, connector 17. Nozzle body consists of plastic part 15 and metal part 4. Between needle seat 5 and the electromagnet in the metal part of housing 4, a hole is drilled and a thread is cut to install pressure sensor 6 and its connector 7. Wires of the pressure sensor can be combined into a single harness of the injector. Sensor readings can be analyzed by an electronic control unit of the vehicle or a separate device.
EFFECT: reduction of time spent on injector diagnostics, provision of their timely maintenance, reduction of excessive consumption of fuel.
