FIELD: information systems.

SUBSTANCE: there is disclosed method of data collection valuable for one or more network applications. For this purpose method is ensured in response to triggering event, disconnection type, location or even clock expiration time. The user location is enabled in response to the event. Then the record is formed connecting the user location and triggering event identifier and/or data measured or received in response to the event, level type of one or more control signals visible for the user location. The record is either stored locally, or transmitted to the remote location. According to one version implemented the record is transmitted to the remote location and stored in the database of the similar records concerning the other user locations.

EFFECT: first of all technical result includes assured approximation of in-place user location availability rate statistics, secondly, cost reduction of data collection by using the general service test equipment, and, thirdly, higher accuracy of the collected data to be used in network applications.
