FIELD: drinking water treatment device.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drinking water treatment device and may be used for filtering water and metering purified water various additives to improve the water characteristics. A device includes a tank (1), a lid (2) of the tank with an opening (13) for pouring treated water, a funnel (8) for receiving treated water, a cartridge (9) for filtering water and a liquid additive metering unit. The lower part of the tank is adapted to collect the filtered water. The funnel (8) is installed in the upper part of the tank (1). A filter cartridge (9) is installed in the funnel (8). The metering unit contains a reservoir (5) for the liquid additive in the form of a vessel made of elastic material with an opening (14), a movable element (3) and a pusher (7). The movable element (3) overlaps the opening (13) for pouring the water to be purified and is installed so that the element can move and the opening (13) can be opened. The pusher (7) is connected to the movable element (3) by means of a transmission mechanism with the possibility of pressing the reservoir (5) for the liquid additive when the movable element (3) opens the opening (13) for filling the water to be purified.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility to simplify the device design and application process, increase the accuracy of metering the additive into the purified water for multiple applications.
