FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engineering industry, and namely to part strengthening devices. Device consists of a housing with deformation elements made in the form of cylindrical pins with striking and contact deformation parts, plunger and distribution element made in the form of balls and located between plunger and edges of the above cylindrical pins. Contact deformation part of cylindrical pins is provided with cylindrical cavity wherein mounted is an insert made from elastic material with a beam of indenters fixed therein. Indenters are provided, at least on one side, with tapered surface by means of which they interact with the grooves made concentrically in the plane on the end part of cylindrical cavity of cylindrical pins the angle whereof is bigger than indenter cone angle.
EFFECT: improving treated material surface quality.
