FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing technique of waste sulfuric acid saturated by heavy metal with receiving of ferric sulfate. Waste sulfuric acid saturated by iron or sulfuric acid materials saturated by iron received from it are interacting to material which contains iron chloride and, non obligatory, other metal chlorides, by means of which it is received ferric sulfate (II). Formed at interaction of waste sulfuric acid with metal chloride hydrochloric acid is separated in gaseous form and/or in the form of aqueous hydrochloric acid. Waste sulfuric acid is supplied to manufacturing of titanium dioxide using sulphate process or from melting of copper, lead or zinc. Waste sulfuric acid is by-product of organic synthesis or etchant. Material, containing iron chloride is etchant or product received from treatment of etchant. Material, containing iron chloride is received from titanium dioxide manufacturing, using chloride process.
EFFECT: ecology improvement and expenditures reduction.
