FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, and can be used for manufacturing of steel in oxygen-blown vessel. Method includes charging of steel scrap, pouring with liquid cast iron, blowing off by oxygen, introduction of additional amount of heat an metal discharge. Introduction of additional amount of heat is implemented by means of fan-shaped oxygen-fuel streams, formed by set of oxygen-fuel burners fixed at the end vertically movable lengthwise converter axis bar. At melting of alloy-free steel with charging of steel scrap in amount more than 25% of metal charge mass fan-shaped separating oxygen-fuel streams into converter it is introduced simultaneously with blowing off the metal by oxygen. At melting of high-alloy steel fan-shaped separating oxygen-fuel streams are introduced for melting of each portion of solid alloying materials with receiving in the end of melting all portions of steel of defined chemical compound and temperature.
EFFECT: provides steel melting with increased portion of scrap in charge.
