FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic metallurgy field and can be used for restoration or repair of cadmic coatings without details dismantling and usage of electroplating bath. Electrolyte contains, g/l: sulfuric cadmium 350-400; surface acoustic wave 0.5-5.0; bone glue 0.1-1.5; KAl(SO4)12H2O 10-20; aluminium oxide nano-powder 5-15. Method includes electro-polishing of products surface by anode made of cadmium in porous cover, filled by electrolyte, with in the capacity of electrolyte it is used electrolyte mentioned above and plating is implemented with current density 10-30 A/dm2 and feed rate of electrolyte 0.4-0.7 l/min.
EFFECT: increasing of electrolyte scattering power, cohesive resistance of coating with the basis, microhardness of coating and deposition rate.
